Overview

A POPULATION APPROACH TO MENTAL HEALTH AND STUDENT SUPPORT

Outcome Measurement

Together, the K10 and the University Stress scale provide a good overview of student functioning and a minimal outcome dataset for health and counselling services.  The K10 captures generalised psychological distress that has the same predictive value for mental illnesses as the longer DASS.  It also provides a brief measure of impairment.  The University Stress Scale provides an overview of the extent a student is experiencing stress across 20 domains.  These measures can be downloaded here.
